Apartments in Dubai Marina, Downtown and JVC rarely have enough wardrobe space, and villa bedrooms accumulate spare duvets, pillows and suitcases with nowhere to go. A storage bed turns the largest unused space in the room, the void under the mattress, into a wardrobe-sized compartment. The Nara is built around your mattress, whether a standard king, a 200 x 200 cm super king or a custom size, so there is no gap between frame and mattress and no wasted floor space.
Gas-Lift Ottoman Mechanism
The mattress platform is mounted on a powder-coated steel frame with twin hydraulic gas struts, so the whole platform lifts smoothly with one hand and holds itself open while you load the compartment. The base is fully lined, the platform is slatted for mattress ventilation, and the mechanism is rated for daily use. It can be built to open from the foot or from the side to suit your room layout.
A Headboard Wider Than the Bed
The Nara headboard extends beyond the base on both sides, in the style of a hotel bed wall, so bedside tables and lamps sit inside the frame. Its edge is finished with a continuous wavy trim in dark velvet, a sculptural detail that reads as a single brushstroke against the pale panel. The trim can be made in any contrast colour, and the headboard width, height and the depth of the scallop can all be adjusted. A standard-width version, with the wavy trim following a conventional headboard outline, is also available.
Textured Weaves, Boucle, Velvet or Your Own Fabric
The bed shown pairs an ivory textured weave with a chocolate velvet trim. The Nara works equally well in boucle, chenille, linen-look weaves or velvet, and can be made in stain-resistant performance fabrics for family homes.
Solid Timber Frame, Built in Dubai
Every Adams bed is built on a kiln-dried solid timber frame, padded with high-density foam and finished by hand in our Dubai workshop. The bed is delivered and assembled by our own team anywhere in Dubai and across the UAE.

Pair the Nara with our bedside tables, an upholstered bench at the foot of the bed, a dressing table or a chest of drawers. The wavy headboard can also be made on its own as a wall-mounted headboard for an existing bed.
