Upholstered storage bench in blue and sand linen check, made in Dubai
The Nantucket is an upholstered storage bench with a lift-up seat and hidden storage, handmade in our Al Quoz workshop in Dubai. Upholstered in a soft linen-blend check in navy, sand, grey and ivory, it has rounded high arms at each end and sits on turned solid wood bun feet. At 200 cm wide with a 46 cm seat height, it is made for the end of the bed, entrance halls, window seats and kids' rooms.
Lift the padded seat by its fabric pull tab and a gas-assisted hinge holds the lid open, so it is safe and easy to use. Inside is a large lined storage compartment for blankets, cushions, bed linen, shoes or toys, keeping your room tidy without adding another piece of furniture.
The linen-blend check gives the Nantucket a relaxed, coastal look that is soft to sit on and easy to live with. The rounded arms make it comfortable to lean against when you sit to put on shoes, and the low bun feet give it a light, modern finish.
Coastal and Modern Country Style Storage Bench
The blue and sand check is inspired by New England coastal homes and modern country interiors. It pairs beautifully with white and natural linen bedding, oak furniture, rattan and blue accents, and works in master bedrooms, guest rooms, children's rooms, hallways and beach houses.

What is the Nantucket storage bench made from?
It has a solid wood frame upholstered in a linen-blend check fabric, a padded lift-up seat with a gas-assisted hinge, a lined storage compartment and turned solid wood bun feet.
How does the storage work?
Lift the seat using the fabric pull tab and the gas-assisted hinge holds it open. Inside is a large lined compartment for blankets, bed linen, cushions, shoes or toys.
What size is the Nantucket storage bench?
The Nantucket measures 200 cm wide, 45 cm deep and 70 cm high overall, with a seat height of 46 cm.
Will a 200 cm bench fit at the end of my bed?
Yes. At 200 cm wide it suits king and super king beds. We can also make it shorter for queen or double beds, or longer for window seats and hallways.
How much is the Nantucket storage bench?
The Nantucket Check Storage Bench is AED 4,200, with free delivery and installation across the UAE.
Can I choose a different fabric?
Yes. It is shown in a blue and sand linen-blend check, and we can make it in plain linen, boucle, velvet, performance fabric or any fabric of your choice.

Yes. The Nantucket gives children a comfortable seat and hides toys inside, and the gas-assisted hinge lowers the lid gently.
How do I care for a linen-blend upholstered bench?
Vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment and blot spills straight away with a clean damp cloth. For deeper cleaning we recommend a professional upholstery cleaner.
How long does it take to make the Nantucket storage bench?
Standard lead time is 2 to 3 weeks from order confirmation. Adams Furniture manufactures in our Al Quoz, Dubai workshop, which is much faster than importing from overseas.
